As a child I loved playing chess and following a thinking process. That drove me into learning the logic that rules our universe, also known as mathematics.
I believe that the best application of mathematics to the real world is programming and data science, due to their proximity to pure logic.
For that reason, I’ve spent the last years studying and developing the needed tools for a good understanding of this fascinating field.
In the biomedical institute of Córdoba, IMIBIC, I was proposed, together with a team of other 3 engineers, the development of a probe that could analyze the behaviour of pressure changes inside the anal rectum of newborns.
I was in charge of the software; communicating the serial output of an Arduino with an application in Unity, which showed the behavior in a 3D space, while sending the information to an application created in Python, which allows to analyze this information, treated as a time series.
Development and deployment of a fine-tuned Convolutional Neural Network to classify images of clothes among 10 different categories. In addition to a brief study on the use of the features extracted from the convolution as a basis for other algorithms (SVM and DTree).
Keras, Tensorflow, Numpy and Sklearn have been used, using a Jupyter Notebook.
The server allows en executive or economist, with no technical knowledge, to explore a database.
For the development of the project, it was necessary to use python with FastAPI and the OpenAI API to convert natural language in SQL code.
In order to do so, the executive just would have to write what he would like to know about the database. For example, he could write "Show me all users that have bought x product in the last 30 days and information about them".
In this project I used Machine Learning (through Scikit-Learn, Pandas, ...) to compare and analyze the price of thousands of second hand cars.
The final results are a series of conclusions and a car price prediction tool that, through an SVM, has a very high accuracy. AI2DB.
